Small cabins, with queen beds and various arrangements are on the south side of camp, to the north are our dorms. No matter where you are sleeping, you will be wrapped in silence. The whisper of the wind, the peace of a deer grazing in the meadow. Sleeping at Luccock is a pleasure we hope you get to embrace.
Luccock Park’s rustic yet comfortable cabins offer a variety of sleeping and gathering areas, from quaint couples spaces to our largest cabins, which can sleep as many as 33 and still have room inside, or out on the decks, for meetings & activities or just relaxing in the clear mountain air.
All of our cabins are within a short walk to recently renovated bathhouses that have all the amenities, including hot water on demand, that you need to make your stay enjoyable.
Because we’re at almost 6,000′ altitude, it can get chilly at night even in July and August. For your comfort, every cabin has either a wood burning stove or a ceramic heater and all have electricity. Firewood and kindling are provided free of charge.
Cabins have a variety of sleeping arrangements from queens to singles and bunks. We do not provide bedding – so you’ll need to bring a sleeping bag or a cozy comforter and your favorite pillow with you! And, rest assured, all cabin spaces (mattresses included) are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized after every use.
Lodge- Our main lodge has two sides, one for dining, one used as a meeting hall. You can comfortably fit 125 on each side, but with creative seating arrangements we have had 150 diners an 200 meeting hall seats. The tables are round, sized for 8 folding chairs.
RVs- We have 3- 50amp, 3-30amp, and 6-110amp outlets. We allow a maximum of 7 RVs per event. The road to Luccock is steep and narrow, 30-35ft RVs do well, longer 5th wheels may struggle. Look at the USGS map found below, which shows the hairpin turn, for road info. We do not have water or sewer hook-ups for RVs.
Bathhouses- our comfortable bathhouses are located on the north and south side of camp. Each has two sides with 2-4 shower stalls and 3-4 toilet stalls. Our water heaters are state of the art, on-demand heaters, so you won't need to take cold showers here!
Chapel- guests are encouraged to utilize the Dutton Chapel for reflection, or worship. It seats approximately 60 people and opens to our favorite view of Black Mountain.
Pavilion- filled with picnic tables, this space offers shade from the sun and protection from sudden downpours. The pavilion has electricity and lights, and is situated next to our north firepit.
Our crowning glory, the Meadow, is 7 acres of grass waiting for your guests to play, worship, or attend your wedding. It is home to more than a few deer, moles, and voles, so wear flat shoes and play carefully!
We hope you, and your campers, family, or guests enjoy the peace that is sleeping at Luccock.
